What's the story?

Your son arrives at the fire station early in the morning, pulls on his yellow coat and red helmet, polishes the big red truck until it shines and slides down the pole just like the real firefighters. Then the bell rings: a little cat is stuck at the top of the tallest tree in town. He climbs the ladder calmly, one rung at a time, and brings her safely back down. At the end of the day he teaches the whole town how to stay safe — and discovers that being brave means staying calm and helping others.

How is the book personalized?

Send us your child's name and a clear photo of their face. We turn the photo into an illustrated character who appears on every page, and print their name on the cover and throughout the story. You'll get a PDF of the full book within 24 hours of ordering to review with us. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

A dream he can wear on the cover

Plenty of kids announce they're going to be firefighters before they can write their own names. When your son sees himself in that red helmet on the cover, the dream stops being a game and becomes a picture he comes back to every night. That's why he'll ask for this one again and again.

Brave means calm before it means fast

The book isn't just sirens and ladders. At its heart is a simple idea every child needs: when something scary happens, we breathe, stay calm, then help. And the scene where he teaches the town how to stay safe opens an easy conversation at home about what your family does in an emergency.

Questions about “Firefighter to the Rescue”

Is the story scary for little ones?

Not at all. The big rescue is a cat stuck in a tree, and the focus is on staying calm and helping others — plenty of action, nothing to keep a little one up at night.

What kind of photo do you need?

A clear photo of the face in natural light is all it takes — a phone photo is perfect. Avoid dark photos or ones where the face is turned to the side. If the photo won't work, we'll tell you and ask for another before we start.

Can I add a dedication on the first page?

Yes. Write us the dedication you'd like — a line or a paragraph — and we'll print it on the first page in elegant type. It's the page parents come back to years later.

What language is the book in?

English — short, warm sentences made for reading aloud, with your child's name on the cover and throughout the story. You'll see the cover in the free preview, and the whole book in the proof before we print.

What if I don't love the book?

We don't print anything until you've seen the digital proof and approved it. And if your printed book arrives with a printing defect, we'll reprint and ship it again for free.
