Welcome to elaab. By using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any of them, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who can use elaab
- Accounts are opened by an adult (18 or older) on behalf of their own children or children in their legal care.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for any activity that takes place through your account.
- One account per family. Up to 4 child profiles on the Family plan.
2. Subscription and billing
- We offer a 7-day free trial with no card required. During the trial you have full access to all of the Platform’s features.
- When the trial ends, you can subscribe to the monthly elaab Family plan at a price shown in your local currency. Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay. We do not store your card details.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your settings. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have paid for.
3. Money-back guarantee
If your child doesn’t enjoy elaab within the first 7 days of your paid subscription, we will refund the full amount. No questions asked. Message us through our contact page and we will process your request within 5 business days.
4. Printed books
- Any finished story can be ordered as a printed paper copy and shipped to your address.
- The price is shown before you pay. Shipping is calculated based on your country. Production and shipping take 7 to 14 business days, depending on your region.
- Orders cannot be canceled once printing has started (usually within 24 hours of order confirmation). A replacement is available if the book arrives damaged.
5. Generated content
- You keep the right to use the stories and songs created in your account for your own private family purposes (reading them to your child, printing them, and sharing them with family).
- We retain a license to use this content within the Platform (to display it, generate avatars, generate audio, and so on).
- Reselling the content or redistributing it commercially is not permitted without our written permission.
- We reserve the right to refuse or delete any content generated in a way that violates these terms or that is offensive to children or to any group of people.
6. Acceptable use
When using elaab, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Enter the names or photos of children you are not legally authorized to represent.
- Attempt to get around the content safety checks.
- Use automated software, reverse-engineer the Platform, or attempt to break into it.
- Impersonate another person or use an account that is not yours.
7. Safety and limitation of liability
We take care over the quality and safety of all content that reaches your child. However, the Platform is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for:
- Indirect harm resulting from use of the Platform (such as a temporary service interruption).
- Content generated from misleading input provided by the user.
- Failures caused by third-party services (Stripe, Supabase, model providers).
8. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, with advance notice where possible.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country from which elaab is operated. Any dispute will first be resolved amicably through direct communication. If that is not possible, it will be referred to the competent courts.
10. Updates
We may update these terms to keep pace with changes to the Platform or to regulations. We will notify you by email of any material change before it takes effect.
