What's the story?

Your daughter climbs into her little spaceship and takes the controls herself. On Mars she rides out the red dust storms, on Saturn she whooshes down the rings like a giant slide, and at Jupiter she spins around the great red spot like a merry-go-round. On every planet she collects one amazing fact and writes it in her notebook. Then she lands back home with pages full of wonders — and a big dream: to be an astronaut one day.

How is the book personalized?

Send us your child's name and a clear photo of their face. We turn the photo into an illustrated character who appears on every page, and print their name on the cover and throughout the story. You'll get a PDF of the full book within 24 hours of ordering to review with us. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

When space becomes a place she knows

In schoolbooks, planets are names and numbers. Here, every planet is somewhere your daughter has been: she slid down its rings and spun with its storms. So the next time she hears the word Saturn, she won't just remember a fact — she'll remember an adventure that was hers.

A dream that starts with a notebook

The story ends with a notebook full of wonders and a wish to be an astronaut. It's an open invitation to ask her: what do you want to discover? A book that feeds her curiosity and lets her picture herself in the job of her dreams.

Questions about “Among the Planets”

Does she need to know anything about space first?

Not at all. The hero discovers each planet for the first time, so your daughter discovers it right alongside her. And if she already knows her planets, she'll love seeing what she knows turn into an adventure.

What kind of photo do you need?

A clear photo of the face in natural light is all it takes — a phone photo is perfect. Avoid dark photos or ones where the face is turned to the side. If the photo won't work, we'll tell you and ask for another before we start.

Can I add a dedication on the first page?

Yes. Write us the dedication you'd like — a line or a paragraph — and we'll print it on the first page in elegant type. It's the page parents come back to years later.

What language is the book in?

English — short, warm sentences made for reading aloud, with your child's name on the cover and throughout the story. You'll see the cover in the free preview, and the whole book in the proof before we print.

What if I don't love the book?

We don't print anything until you've seen the digital proof and approved it. And if your printed book arrives with a printing defect, we'll reprint and ship it again for free.
