Celebrating that very first lost tooth
One tooth fell out. One whole night became a story.
The night the first tooth comes out only happens once. In this book, that tiny tooth becomes a beam of light across the bedroom and leads your child on a short adventure before sleep — ending with a surprise under the pillow and a hero who's grown up by one whole tooth.

What's the story?
The tooth comes out suddenly in the middle of playtime, so your child tucks it under the pillow. That night, the tooth starts to glow and draws a golden line through the air — over the sleeping houses to a place where the teeth of brave children are collected. Your child follows the line, sees what's made from the teeth there, and is back in bed before dawn. In the morning, something is waiting for them.
How is the book personalized?
Send us your child's name and a clear photo of their face. We turn the photo into an illustrated character who appears on every page, and print their name on the cover and throughout the story. You'll get a PDF of the full book within 24 hours of ordering to review with us. Nothing goes to print until you approve it.

A page waiting for the real tooth
At the back of the book is a small, sturdy pocket and a page with space for the date of that night and the name of whoever was by your child's side. Your child tucks the tooth in with their own hand. Years later, when they happen to open the book, they won't just find a story — they'll find their own tooth.

A bedtime adventure, made to be read aloud
The night a tooth comes out, nobody is in a hurry to fall asleep. So the story keeps the night warm rather than spooky, the sentences short and easy to read aloud, and your child's name on the cover and all through the story — the hero following that golden line over the sleeping houses is unmistakably them.

Questions about “The Magic Tooth”
My daughter hasn't lost a tooth yet — should we read it to get ready?
Honestly, that's the best way to use it. Reading it a few weeks ahead turns a wiggly tooth from something to worry about into something to look forward to.
What kind of photo do you need?
A clear photo of the face in natural light is all it takes — a phone photo is perfect. Avoid dark photos or ones where the face is turned to the side. If the photo won't work, we'll tell you and ask for another before we start.
Can I add a dedication on the first page?
Yes. Write us the dedication you'd like — a line or a paragraph — and we'll print it on the first page in elegant type. It's the page parents come back to years later.
What language is the book in?
English — short, warm sentences made for reading aloud, with your child's name on the cover and throughout the story. You'll see the cover in the free preview, and the whole book in the proof before we print.
What if I don't love the book?
We don't print anything until you've seen the digital proof and approved it. And if your printed book arrives with a printing defect, we'll reprint and ship it again for free.
